Forwarder Timberjack 1110D, 2004, Rautavaara

One of the best forestry machines: a D‑model 1110 forwarder with a John Deere engine, suitable even for hauling energy wood. Display and mini‑levers renewed; two pairs of chains included. The frame has hardly been welded anywhere; the loader’s main boom root has a small weld. Slight play in the frame joint; bogies/undercarriage straight.

Defects:

The engine rattles at idle but evens out under load — likely an injector or feed‑pump issue. This has been the case for a long time and has not interfered with work or driving. Runs well and starts reliably even in frost. The engine has mechanical injectors and a distributor pump — it is not common‑rail. Some tidying and minor repairs needed here and there if you want it tidy, otherwise ready for the forest immediately. Some tyres are good, some are worse; chains still in good condition. The frame lock does not hold completely but manages well.
